Can You Give Your Dog Ham?
With Easter right around the corner, there’s a good chance you’re making plans to prepare a Honey-Baked ham. I don’t know about you, but when I make this delicacy, my furry friend gives me her very best puppy-dog eyes to try to convince me to carve her up a piece.

Unfortunately for her, ham isn’t the best for dogs, as reported by Pet MD. While a small piece of fully-cooked unseasoned ham shouldn’t cause your pup any real trouble, it’s not something you should give them, given its naturally high sodium and fat content.
Thankfully, there are other Easter-themed foods you can share with your pup. For instance, you could give them a piece of a hard-boiled egg or bits of carrot. Just be sure to check with your vet before you introduce any new foods to your dog’s diet!
