Can Dogs Eat Oranges?

When the temperatures rise, there’s nothing more refreshing than eating a couple of pieces of an orange.

However, this fruit isn’t the best for dogs! According to the American Kennel Club, while it’s not toxic, it’s not great for our canine companions. The fruit's high-sugar content can cause an upset stomach. And no one wants that! That being said, it should be fine if your dog accidentally eats a piece or two of an orange.

Also, make sure your dog never eats the peel of the orange, as it can cause a digestive tract obstruction.
